  Small town, large Sundial Apr 26, 1993
Carefree, Arizona.. This town is home to the largest sundial in the world. We spent, oh I guess a couple of hours here. It's a small, but very charming town. Of course the definite attraction is the HUGE sundial they've got here.
It is a sight to see, and you can really tell the time from reading the shades it makes. Quite fun actually. And it made for a great memory. :o) Every time my mom and I talks about our trip, she mention Carefree and this sundial. Think it made a greater impression on her, then on me.. allthough I too found it amazing. I also believe it would be fun to go back there someday, and see if the town has changed much in the oh, so many years since we were there. LOL...  Part of the Phoenix, AZ 1993 travel blog
