Great place to stay in Cairns Jun 16, 2009
Stayed here 3 nights and loved it. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Easy to book tours through them and when you booked $200 in tours you got a free night stay. Good common area and easy to meet people. Free meal vouchers. Quick walk into the city and maybe a 40 sec walk to the Esplenade/waterfront. Room even had a fridge. Bathrooms were always clean. Really recommend this hostel!

friendly staff (though i don't really know about creepy gloria), great location on the esplanade but not directly in the centre of all the fuss and noise, very warm and welcoming sitting and eating area with a large cooking space. really fun to hang out at and meet great people!
