Carat Hotel, Monschau
Carat Hotel, Monschau Reviews
Carat Hotel, Monschau Oct 18, 2004
We found a promotion online for Carat Hotel, therefore we go ahead and book it. Carat hotel is a local German hotel, not a member of any international hotels chain. But that certainly doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing! This hotel is quite cozy and easy to reach as you drive to Monschau. Just on the edge of town where you’re still allowed to go by car, since most of Monschau is a car-free zone. Free parking on the hotel parking space but if the hotel has a good occupancy the free parking space is quickly filled up and you are left with parking on paid spots.
The room was ok but not that big, upon entering we noticed a defected light at the desk but that was within a short time fixed again by one of the staff. So good service I think. There’s even an indoor pool. Breakfast buffet offered a good start of your day. All in all Carat Hotel is a fine hotel to stay in if you’re thinking of visiting Monschau. Monschau is a place worth to visit, is located in the hills of the Eifel, in the narrow valley of the Rur river. The nearest big city is Aachen and is closed to Belgium and the Netherlands too.
