So we travelled for 1-1.5hours to Sabang and did a stopover at Goa to buy some food supplies. Ate and played some pool while waiting for the next boat trip to Caramoan until 10:30am because we didn’t want to pay 8k for a single journey boat rental. Did they really think were that stupid? After having a light breakfast (meaning no rice), my friend and I left Calabanga to Naga where we would be catching a van in CBD (Central Bus District) going to Sabang. The trip to Sabang port took more than an hour, and the trip was really tiring. Upon reaching the port of Sabang, there were a group of men who approached passengers. They would served as our human transport to the boat so that we won't get wet. This practice felt so ancient and backward, brought me back to the age of slaves. …

The Caramoan Peninsula has gained tourism popularity in recent years. After the place has been featured in the news and local television programs, local and foreign travelers started to explore the beaches of the peninsula. Caramoan is one of the National Parks of the Philippines.
The 8th season of “Koh-Lanta” (French edition of “Survivor),” was shot entirely in Caramoan.The powdery sand, the coconuts on Gota beach and the neighboring islets are a 'dream' for the French people.
