Caracas Vacation Guide
Regardless of the perceptions one may hear about Caracas, when you first set sight on this beautiful mountainous city, you can only be put in awe of the transcendent nature of the lights and valley during the drive from the airport. A vibrant yet oddly time-warped culture, the delicacy of the food is just as the tradition of the city itself.
A quick 4 hour flight from the south eastern part of the US. The city is located north of the equator yet does not have an extremely humid feel due to it's topography. Nestled in a valley of mountains just south of the Caribbean sea, the cool breeze that flows over the valley allows for mild nights (even if the smog reminds you of a clustered city).
The city is ominously covered in shanty towns and trash strewned streets but that does not take away from the pleasant warmth that the host people provide to the visitors that stop by to sample the life that the city has to offer.

After a 45min flight we arrived to Caracas. Our flight to Lima was for 7pm and it was just 3pm, so we had a lot of time. We arrived to the domestic flights area. Everything was perfect, the only thing was that we had to wait a long time for our bags. Blair was getting worried about his luggage. Whi…
