Enjoyable Captain's Deck Sep 23, 2009
We stopped at Captain's Deck on our way up the Delmarva Peninsula to Chincoteague. I have to admit, we selected it based on the Eastern Shore guide we'd picked up at the welcome center. It looked like a reasonably good seafood restaurant and we were ready for crabcake.

Despite its name, the restaurant serves much more than seafood. It reminded us very much of the Greek-American family restaurants where we live. There is seafood, but also a variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, pasta dishes, and chicken, ham, and steak entrees.

Both Susan and I did select the Crab Cake Sandwich. (Served on a Kaiser roll with fries.) It was very good, with a generous amount of cab meat and nicely fried. As a daily special, the sandwich came with a cup of soup, So, I had Maryland crab soup along with it.
