Captain George's Seafood Virginia Beach Reviews
Best Restaurant at the Beach Jul 10, 2009
This is a 'must' when going to VA Beach. It has every type of seafood imaginable on their buffet, and its always cooked to perfection. In case if seafood isn't your thing, they have things like chicken and prime rib, etc. The atmosphere is amazing and nothing short of 'wow'. The staff and servers are always very polite and friendly, and its only 3 miles from the oceanfront. I highly recommend this restuarant over any other seafood buffet in Virginia Beach.

We just spend the day driving around the 3 naval bases. checking out the boats and subs.
our original plan was to have sushi. however, when we got there, they only do hibachi.
then we thought of this place. it is near the new apt. and every time we drive by it was a packed parking lot. we figured this mst be a good place to eat.
when we walked there was velvet ropes like we were going in a buffet. then when we found out IT IS A BUFFET..EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK. we looked at each other and frowned. we were too lazy to drive and we were hungry. we just sucked it up.
the hostess walked us to our table. we were drooling at the oysters on a half shell, alaskan snow crabs, primb rib, fried soft shelled crab, and the HUSH PUPPIES. i miss hush puppies :)
this is a big place. this also has a sports bar called "just georges". you can have the buffet or al la cart. we can watch sports and crack snow crab in the same time.
all in all i would come back for the sports bar and order from the al la cart menu instead. i will make a separate review on that next time. we made the best of it for $27. i only ate the oysters, snow crabs, and some veggies. i ate about 2 plates of snow crabs, it was about 2lbs.
