Capri Motel & Trailer Village

Motels have been around since back in the 1920s or 30s, and Capri Motel and Trailer Court is surely the oldest one in Visalia. It is on the east end of town and although many businesses have come in around it and the city has expanded it has stayed the same for all these years. It is a single story motel with about twenty rooms, including a few with kitchenettes. They also have a small trailer park on the back of the property for small trailers or short single-wides. You can get daily or weekly rates and somehow the fairly cheap prices have kept them in business all these years. I'm not sure I would recommend it, but there is one great thing about it. Next door is the The Corner Cafe.

As of this date I beieve that the motel section is closed and the trailer parks section has been emptied and the trailer pads broken up. What a terrible loss. Not.
