Capitol Lounge Reviews

best cocktails in Dublin Jul 18, 2008
Capitol lounge is a trendy and spacious late night music bar situated on the corner of Aungier Street and Stephen Street. They serve excellent cocktails there - especially frozen cocktails and cosmopolitans, such as strawberry margarita and white cosmopolitan. Like in most bars and nightclubs in Dublin, the drinks aren't cheap there. Normally drinks cost around 10 € there, but there are also special offers on weekdays (coctails of the week cost only 4,95 € until 12 pm).

On weekdays it's not too full and it's relatively easy to find a place to sit down. The music quite good, they play among others, dance, indie-rock and house music there. Most of the people there are students and young professionals in their early and mid-twenties. It's a great place to have a couple of drinks and meet new people. I definitely recommend this place.
