My trip with Adi and Uols around the world. We booked our flights and left without a plan what to do and where to go.

Was a good but long day today. I went up 90 mile beach and rode sand dune, it was good fun but I wasn’t in any shape to try that slope again. Then we were driven up to Cape Reinga, which was a beautiful cape at the top of North Island. Also went into the Kauri forest and saw some very old trees, although we didn’t see the largest one (that was in another forest). We got back to Paihia at about 6pm so I’m just getting ready for the horse ride and tomorrow’s departure back to Auckland.

Once boarding the bus for our trip we realised that the average age of the people on the bus was 70, not really whar we were expecting. The morning passed by very slowly with countless jokes from the guide and an overload of information on Kauri trees. Things started looking up when we had the most delicious and huge icecream. We made our way to Cape Reinga and the sun came out (finally). The view was spectacular especially where the 2 seas met as there were waves in the middle of the se...

We left this morning with a special bus. A bus from Kings dune riders. Why special... I tell you later. The first stop was at Manginangina: The Kauri forest in Puketi. Then we bought our lunch in the Ancient kauri Kingdom. We found there a lot of beautiful products made of kauriwood.
Then the trip went to the very North, Cape Reinga. There we had a view over the both sea's who are coming together there. It are the Tasman Sea and the South Pacific Ocean.Cape reinga is called...

Finding Victoria. Many countries across the globe have honoured Her Majesty Queen Victoria and the Commonwealth. On my travels I will keep my eye out for various namesakes.

I live here so this is just shots from a beautiful country. The dates are not really accurate but I figured it was better to have more photos in each place.
