Cape Meares Vacation Guide
Cape Meares is on the Oregon coast near Tillamook, Oregon. To get there you take the scenic Three Capes drive off of Pacific Coast Highway 101. Cape Meares State park is the major attraction here.
The park has a viewpoint off the cape into the churning sea, a trail to the Octopus tree (you have to see it to understand it) a few other short trails and the Cape Meares Lighthouse.
There is a cluster of houses at the north end of Cape Meares near the mouth of Tillamook Bay which is just a small little beach town with no major services, just some beach houses you can rent if you find out who owns them.
