Cape Horn Vacation Guide
Cape Horn, the southernmost point in the Western Hemisphere is part of Chile and is actually on an island. The water around it is navigable even by large cruise ships and, in fact, cruises often circumvavigate it. Chile maintains a weather station on the island; a remote outpost indeed!
The Cape is famous for it's often fearsome storms and was much feared by early mariners. In a clear day, it's rocky cliffs are absolutely awesome.
