On Friday I was making great progress with War and Peace--I always imagined I'd read it on an ocean voyage. But there were lots of other things to do, too, so it's not quite finished and still in my backpack. A passing container barge was a reminder of ocean-going commerce. In the late evening lights to starboard indicated we were running by the Bahamas once again. Time to say farewell.

Other than swimmining with manatees Crystal River really does not have much to offer it's a super tiny town.  We were trying to decide where to drive to next, we decided to go to the space center!  We drove across Florida from the Gulf coast to the Atlantic coast, how many people are crazy enough to do that?  After we got our fill of the space center we then drove to Cocoa Beach.  Yes, all in one day!  The space center  truly was the highlight of my husbands...

So I went on a cruise and got to see the space station as a side trip. The way over we saw aligators and bald eagles which was pretty cool. The space station itself wa sinteresting, but at the same time restricted mostly. It woul dhave been a sight to watch a space shuttle take off, but no luck. It was a good experience, but one you only do once.

I went on a cruise for one week! It was so far probably my favorite vacation! We went to Key west, Grand Cayman, Cozumel Mexico, and Disney's Private Island!
