Canyonlands Vacation Guide

The Canyonlands area comprises the area of the eastern flank of Utah with the national parks of Arches and Canyonlands to the waters of Lake Powell containing most of the scenic and spectacular landscape of what is the Canyonlands area.

Canyonlands looks more like the surface of the moon then something you would expect on Planet Earth. It may look void of all life but Canyonlands contains countless plants and animals that are able to endure this seemily hostile environment. Bighorn Sheep, Mule Deer, Coyotes, Bobcats, Mountain Lions and various birds of prey are some of the wildlife present. Lizards though rule the land.
