Canton is another one of those great cities along I-20. It is about an hour east of Dallas and host one of the largest Trade Days in Texas. The town sits in Van Zandt County. The trade days are really popular, so check out their website to get more info. The dates are always around the first MOnday of each month. There are just a lot of good things to find there. It is worth the drive.
The downtown square has many quaint little shops and eateries. You can find a good school system, good roads and friendly people.
