Summer of 2007 followed a year of intense family drama, stress, and a terrible break up. I needed not a vacation, but a break from life. I packed up my Xterra and headed Northwest to do the one thing I love the most..snowboarding!

starting to put together my pics and tales from visiting friends and sights for a few weeks in august. it was a great (and VERY needed!) time away to see beautiful sights, hang out in cool cities, and spend time with friends that i have not seen in quite awhile. Here are some pics of Crater Lake, hiking on Mt Rainier (although it was kind of a gross day and the moutain wasn't out:( It was still beautiful), the obligatory Pike's Market shot, Cannon Beach, and some random pics from Vegas.

Bike & Build provides young adults with the opportunity to participate in a cross-country bike trip across the US to raise awareness for affordable housing. My route cycled from Virginia Beach, VA to Cannon Beach, OR (5/15/08-7/25/08). Once a week, we traded our bikes in for hammers and helped with Habitat for Humanity or another affordable housing organization. It was, by far, the greatest travel experience I have ever had.
