Trekking on Cangshan Mountain Jan 17, 2017
Cangshan Mountain [Diancang], a veritable botanical garden, is like a huge screen wall in the western part of Dali. Malong, the main peak, soars 4,122 meters into the sky capped with a snowy summit that never thaws.

You can go up untill the Zhonghe Temple by a cable car. I went there on foot. Anyway, I had to pay 50 CNY to enter to the mountain. From the temple, you will find a way to make a trekking of 10km. During this way you have opportunity to admire valleys, waterfalls... At the end, you can go back to Old Dali using the same way [returning back] or going down following the river.
