Candolim Beach is located in North Goa. This beach is largely visited by foreign travelers. The beach itself is not the cleanest Goa has to offer and has a large rusting hulk of an old tanker aground just off shore. Fort Aguada is a few minutes’ drive from this beach. Other attractions are Yoga, Water sports like parasailing, jet skiing, banana boat rides etc are available on this beach. This beach is best to visit during day as there is not tourist found along the beach during night. There are loads of restaurants open along the main road. Accommodation is available, close to the beach and along the main road. Mapusa and Panaji is the closet Cities and there is a very good network of buses through and fro. There are also options available for renting a 2 or 4 wheeler or hiring a Taxi. Usually renting a 2 wheeler is the cheapest and best option, if you know how to ride!
