We booked a tour from the Posada, we left on saturday moning in a little Cessna 5 seater plane. When we arrived in Canaima we went by boat up the river, through many rapids to the waterfall, which took about 4 hours, at least one of which was in a tropical storm, which was a bit cold in just shorts…

I have always wanted to see Angel Falls. Finally I got around to it the during my 2nd trip to Venezuela and Colombia. I have also visited the Gran Sabana, Ciudad Bolivar, Cartagena and Tovar during this trip.
