…puerta de un viejo y desconchado edificio (como todos los de la ciudad) en cuya primera planta había un cartel rojo en que se leía: CANADIAN HOSTEL. Subimos con el chico americano y preguntamos precios y disponibilidad. A pesar de ser una época propensa al “Todo completo” hubo suerte y conseguimos una habitación con cinco camas por seis euros al día cada uno. Y en El Cairo estar… El Cairo: Ciudad del Caos |

Una vez finalizada la cena, caminamos lentamente por la Plaza Tahrir hasta llegar al Canadian Hostel (¿O debía llamarlo Mouse Hostel?) donde continuamos con la charla subidos a las camas, que a saber dónde se había metido el ratoncito en tal ocasión. Y así fueron cayendo rendidos todos… Pilar, Chema, Kalipo fueron cediendo sus fuerzas… Una historia de Pirámides, resacas, ratones y despedidas |

I started my Cairo trip from Tahrir where I stayed in Canadian hostel
a good place which was clean for 20 LE. Tahrir could be termed as the focal
point of the city since it is kind of the middle of the city one can easily go
to Giza , old city etc , the subway is here… the capital city, awake at even 4 am |
