Canada's Wonderland Vaughan Reviews
Always a fun-filled day at Wonderland May 06, 2013
Every summer I purchase a season pass for Canada's Wonderland. For only $66 for a renewal, it's worth it even if you only go twice! Last year they added the "fast lane" option and just like in many theme parks around the world, you are able to skip the long lines on rides. The fast pass was available for $35 last year, but this year they upped the price to $45. It's worth it on a busy weekend otherwise save the $45 and go on a Monday-Wednesday. Canada's Wonderland also features a water-park which includes a lazy river (my fav). For those who enjoy riding on roller coasters and water slides, this is the perfect theme park to spend the day!
Wonderland is also kid-friendly, with a entire section filled with kid rides and games!

Canada's Biggest Amusement Park Jul 04, 2011
Canada's Wonderland is infamous for being one of the biggest amusement parks we have.
Its just a half hour drive north of Toronto and a little bit more than that if you take public transit or the GO bus.
To fellow Torontonias who grew up coming to this park we know it as the former "Paramount Canadas Wonderland". Back in the day the big movie company slapped their name on the park and along with that contributed several movie titles to a few of the rides. The most popular ride was... "TOP GUN".
Excited patrons would wait in a que for more than an hour just to ride Top Gun. And they would play cool lines from the movie while you waited. It was fun to pretend that you and your friend were Iceman and Maverick.
They also had a stand up roller coaster called "THE BAT". Plummeting down a steep track while standing up always leaves my heart in my throat.
And then there's "THE ITALIAN JOB" This ride was pretty cool too because you got a chance to see just how fast those stunt cars go.
But Paramount pulled out and they took the fun names with them but thankfully the rides remain.
The park also has a kids section, (formerly known as "Hanna Barbera Land"), where kids could also go on rides and meet popular cartoon characters like Spongebob Squarepants, Snoopy and Dora the Explorer.
There is also a water park that features rides like Whitewater Bay (Canada's largest wave pool), the Riptide Racer, the Black Hole and the Barracuda Blaster.
The park is a lot of fun and they have a calendar full of events in the summer.
Sadly its not cheap. The admission price is ridiculously high and of course park food is expensive too so I strongly suggest that you go on your birthday ($30 admission). Or go with a group because family passes tend to be a lot cheaper.
And its always best to buy your tickets in advance. Gate prices are significantly higher than if you buy them online or at the nearest Shoppers Drug Mart.
There are also really great deals when you go on special event days like Pride or Canada Day.
The park opens in late June to the end of August. Come September and October its only open on the weekends. The best time to go in the fall is on Halloween. The park gets really spooky.
Hope this review was helpful!
