The clocks had been moved forward an hour to Atlantic Time. We got up at 7:30 with delivery of our coffee & tea and I ran up on deck to watch us come in to port. As we docked at Pier 21, they had drummers, bagpipers & a town crier on the pier to greet us. We met my folks for breakfast in th…

It's evening, and the most beautiful water ballet with the Titanic song-My Heart will go on. Was the most BEAUTIFUL performance I ever seen. They even played that song at the beach. It was one of the best ballets a person can possibly see.

I don't think I'll be updating this blog as often as I was able to update our last trip.  It just takes too much time to try and track down an internet cafe 4-5 times a week.  I'll try and update once or twice weekly as I find the time. We leave in about a week, and although i'm excited,…

Autumn reflections: Hanceville Travel Photos
posted by:
Oct 11, 2009 – Dec 06, 2009
In mid-October I took a week off to take a few shots of the colour of autumn in BC, particularly the Chilcotin and around Wells Gray Provincial Park near Clearwater. During my stay in the Chilcotin, the temp dropped to -20C while I was camped at Fletcher Lake west of Williams Lake but it made for some nice photos. I did a few GigaPan panoramas as well, some of which are now uploaded to the Gigapan web site. http://gigapan.org/gigapans/34901/ Enjoy the views!

My Camelot: Alberta Travel Photos
posted by:
Aug 06, 2006
I think everyone has a place of retreat where they find rest and fill up on love and energy. My Camelot happens to be a half-section of land in Cassils, Alberta that houses some family history and two of the dearest people I know. I've been able to escape at least once annually for just about every year of my life and consider it one of my joys and necessities. Come share some memories
