Vancouver is a really beautiful city to visit.  This is one of my favorite cities in all of Canada. There are ten legs to the race rated in difficulty from a 2 to 10 out of ten. The race is held the third weekend in June and teams are selected on a draw basis. The weather we've experienced over the years has been driving snow to blistering heat.  I have experienced both of these in a single 10 kilometer span running down from the Highwood Pass.

March 26th, 2008. My last entry was back in November 2007. Things have been busy and all over the place over here but in a good way. 32 states in the US and 8 in Canada. Travelled Canada and the USA from coast to coast within five months. Travelled mostly by train, sometimes by coach. In total 33.000 km (20.000 miles). Started and ended in Toronto. Some other highlights: Montreal, Quebec, New York, Philadelpia, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans, El Paso, LA, San Fran, Yosemite, Death Valley, Vegas, Vancouver, Jasper. Experienced temperatures varying from minus 25 degrees Celsius to +30 degrees Celsius. Only shot 6000 pictures.

Well this morning is bitter sweet. Sad to be leaving Vancouver but happy about the next part of our adventure.
