Taking the ferry from Swartz Bay (Victoria) on Vancouver Island to Tsawassen (Vancouver) can be a very pleasant trip at any time of the year, here are a few photos from my last trip Nov.2007.

Vancouver's excellent aquarium is in the middle of gorgeous Stanley Park. I had a great day there and was doubly pleased to hear that the animals are all rescue ones (I'm not a fan of dragging animals out of their natural habitats for our amusement). The beluga whales were particularly adorable :D

Gowlland Tod Range has nearly 23 kilometers of great hiking trails with so many things to see...Only about a 20 minute drive from Victoria to Caleb Pike trail head. The park encompasses nearly the entire east side of Saanich Inlet, It stretches from Goldstream to Brentwood Bay.It towers 430 meters over Finlayson Arm. It has so much wildlife, eagles, falcons, deer, otters playing in the sea. Again Vancouver Island has many magical places to roam...you just have to look.

I have to say that out of all the places I've visited this one is very special to me. It was my first time in Canada, seeing snow, and skiing. I'm going back to Canada on October, I will go either to Montreal or Quebec.

We took a short trip to Canada to enjoy the Niagara Falls and to relax.

I will update this later...the highlights: bagels from St-Viateur Bagels, sledding in Mont Royal, twisting my ankle on the icy Montreal streets, and ringing in the New Year with the Canadians.

Checking out the area was fun. My favorite part of canada are the undergound malls that strech on for miles !
