I lived in Sudbury for approximately 17yrs and suddenly the family had to 'up-and-move' ... though I remember disliking Sudbury, Ontario and wanting to return to my home in Ottawa, I guess over time I began to become attached to Sudbury and now I look back and want to return ... the same feeling I had back then in Sudbury, Ontario is reappearing again here in Calgary, Alberta ... far from family, but at least I have you; my Travbuddy Family to keep me going!!!!

Flew in to NYC on 22nd July and moved around America from there. I saw some amazing sites such as Niagara Falls and the Grand Canyon and I got to drive down the Big Sur. It was a truly awesome experience and I'd love to do a lot more traveling from now on.

Vancouver's excellent aquarium is in the middle of gorgeous Stanley Park. I had a great day there and was doubly pleased to hear that the animals are all rescue ones (I'm not a fan of dragging animals out of their natural habitats for our amusement). The beluga whales were particularly adorable :D
