Idyllic, rustic settings and lovely food! Jul 22, 2008
Once recommended to me by a friend who lived in Barcelona, and a place I go back to every time I visit the city. If someone asked me to recommend one restaurant, this would be the one. One of my Norwegian friends even held her marriage reception and party there, cause she fell so in love with the place. It is a former castle of the 11th century and has been a restaurant since 1994. Traditional Catalan cuisine, private lounges, outside terrace for those hot summer nights. Please try the meat speciality of the house - the steak is sooo tender - and you grill it on a plate at your table so you get it exactly the way you want! One of the most romantic places I have been to, but it is even great for a group of friends and to bring children.
