Campomar Hotel & Restaurant

Campomar is a whole but small and cozy complex. They have a hotel (still building it), karaoke (I'll write about it separately) and the restaurant. If you are staying in Levittown area is the perfect place for a party night.

The whole atmosphere is informal and fun, since the ads in the entrance you feel the laid back vibe. The whole place is decorated with flags, traditional Puerto Rican stuff and also antiques. The dining room is located on the 2nd floor. Tables have blue & white table clothes which give a familiar touch.

The have tropical plants and bamboo decoration. You will find a dance floor and a stage in one of the corners. The have a singer performing, so you can just listen to the music or dance.

The food is Puerto Rican. It's tasty and they have different dishes to choose. We got the classical mofongo, fried appetizers, Octopus Salad. They give all their customers complimentary bread and soup. This is a small bowl of chicken soup with a piece of mofongo. With any dish you order you would get Puerto Rican most favorite dip: Mayoketchup, haha. no need to say it's mayonnaise with ketchup, lol.

Everyday, they offer something special:
- 1st Sunday of the month: Cumbia & Vallenato Festival
- Thurs: Bachelors club
- Wed - Thurs: Live music (guitar)
- Fri - Sun: Live music Merengue

The staff is helpful and they are always filling your water glasses. If you are visiting this place with a large group of people, I'd suggest to make a reservation, so your table would be ready. But if you didn't and have to wait, you can stay in the dance area which also has tables or in the karaoke, which actually is better for the end of the night ;)
