Camping Pagosa Springs Reviews
Colorado camping vacation Oct 10, 2014
We traveled on US 190 to Pagosa Springs. This is a resort with hot springs resulting with a full body soaking as long as you can take it. we had a great time there till the thunderstorms came and run us off.
Then we went to Crested Butte, CO to take the Kebler Pass trail. The pass is 10,000 feet and the most beautiful sights are west of Kebler Pass. We drove through thick large aspen groves with an occasional blue spruce to color things up.
Then we went east of Gunnison to Cumberland Pass at 12,000 feet. There were mineing ruins at the top and on the south way down.
Then we went to Grand Junction and then the short distance to Colorado National Monument. We visited many beautiful canyons. These look like the canyons in Utah at Canyonlands National Park because they are the very same rock formations as Utah. Canyonlands is more spectacular.
