Camping and Swimming Seekirchen am Wallersee Reviews
Free entry for swimming and cheap camping Aug 10, 2008
If you are already in Salzburg and spend more than the two-day-tourist-tour here in Summer, you might consider taking a dive into the warm waters of Wallersee.
Its most convienient to go by train, since the swimming-area is within walking-distance from the trainstation.
Going swimming there is free and fun, because they have a lot of apparel in the water. The lying-area is clean and well-kept. And chips can be had from 3 euros at the attached restaurant. The toilets are also quite clean.
You can also rent pedal- and rowing-boats in the nearby sailing club, for about 15 euros an hour.
Of course, there also is the camping area, that I didn't have a real look at, but it also looked very well-kept, if a bit crammed. And I think its relatively cheap with 8 euros.
