A camp ground with nice facilities just outside the center of Venice Nov 12, 2011
The camping can be reached by car but we came by train from Venice center. When you arrive in Venice you have to go to the Zattere ferry boat stop, it's easily reached with the vaporetta to Ponte dell'Accademia and then a 5-minute walk to Zattere.

Remind that the ferry boat doesn't leave every hour so make sure you have the timetable from the website.

The boat journey takes about half an hour.

We stayed in a cabin for 30 euro/night/2 persons. It's small but clean, with some closets and room to leave your suite case.

The common bathrooms were clean. There were also washing machines but we didn't use them.

There is a cyberbus with payed internet.

The camping ground has a shop, a play ground and two restaurants. The pizzas were the best I've eaten on my Italy trip!

I missed a swimming pool though cause it was very hot in summer.

The location is half an hour away from the center of Venice but remind that around the camping ground there really is nothing. There is a jetty where you can hang out and watch the enormous ships that come by cause Fusina is at the passage to the Adriatic Sea.

It's a nice place to stay when you want to avoid the crowd of Venice or stay at a cheap place near Venice.

good value for money Apr 17, 2011
The place was very good, they have this 3 day tkt that takes you to and from Venice itself and it was valid on the water buses as well, the room had a heater (which was handy on the cold night) my only problem was the shower.

Visit Venice on a budget Sep 16, 2011
The camp site is ideally situated for your visit to Venice. The site is immediately opposite Venice and has regular passenger ferries direct to the main sites (hourly).

Tents, caravans & campers are well catered for and often in the evenings there is good entertainment should you wish to partake.

Pitches are large and many shaded, especially those immediately next to the water.......

Party and camp Dec 17, 2009
It is massive party and it gets loud with all the contiki tourists coming. I liked being in a tent for a change and was very nice, the pool was great and I beat some peeps in table tennis (of course). We got free togas for a party which they should have once a week which was cool and the bus is ok to get into Venice but you may have to wait at time. I almost missed it back but just made it! they had some info on boats to greece which I used too. So overall was good place to stay for a change. If you are a family I think another place would be better but good place for party.

Cheap and Fun - watch for Gypsies! Dec 22, 2008
Stayed here for one night while on a Contiki tour.

The rooms are great, compared to what else Contiki gave us (Contiki was awesome by the way). The rooms had 3 beds from memory and a shower in the bathroom with lots of hot water.

The club is quite good, and quite famous - make sure you have an Attitude Adjuster, or 3! - however it closes at 1am, which is not good.

The night before we arrived, a few silly campers left there doors unlocked, and while they were sleeping Gypsies came in and stole things so just use some common sense.

All in all, i would definatly go back.
