Campbell Memorial Park
Campbell Memorial Park Reviews
Only Hockey Rink in Town Sep 16, 2009
Campbell Memorial Park is a sports park that features a baseball field, outdoor hockey rink, and tennis courts. It geared very specifically to these three activities. There is no open space for pets or children, and there is no playground equipment.
The Hockey Rink is currently the only one it town. If in-line hockey is your game, then Campbell Park is for you. The Tennis Courts, while not new, are in good shape and are well maintained. The baseball field comes with a nice backstop and chain link dugouts. The field is not irrigated, so in the Colorado plains, that means it is a dirt field. There is a Port-a-Potty near the hockey rink and tennis courts. Parking for those two arenas are at the Indoor Swimming Pool next door. Parking for the baseball field as at the Adams County Administration Building, the tallest building in Brighton, next door. Both parking lots are very convenient. All uses are first come first serve. The baseball field is busy during the summer. Part of the Scooter's Adventures in Brighton travel blog |
