Campanile Hotel Eindhoven

Actually I give this hotel 3.5 stars. The hotel is located roughly 10 minutes away from the Eindhoven airport by the local bus. There is a bus stop near the hotel (5 minute walk).

I picked this hotel mainly because it was affordable and it was near the airport. Additionally, due to my flight being early the next morning, the location was the right choice for me.

Staff: The front desk clerk was friendly and got us squared away with our room in no time flat.

Check-in: Check-in is at 12pm. We did not arrive at the hotel until late in the afternoon after traveling from Amsterdam via train. A card key was handed to me after paying in advance.

The place: The lobby was large and inviting and looked more like a regular hotel. The elevator was small which seems unusual for this size hotel. They do have stairs if you prefer that option. The hotel is connected to a restaurant next door. Breakfast is around 10 euros and it's in a form of a buffet. Naturally, you can order meals through out the day and early evening. There is a modest-sized bar there as well.
You will also find a pool table in the lobby area if you need something to do and if that's your thing.

The hotel room I was given came with two twin beds (as requested) since I was accompanied by a friend of mine. The room was of modest size but large enough to move about. There is a coffee maker with complimentary cream, sugar, stirs, etc., should you need it.

The bathroom was of modest size and very clean. I was impressed. They offer complimentary soap and tiny bottles of shampoo should you require them.

The bed was comfortable for me and adequate.

Check-out: This was easy and quick since I paid in advance. The front desk clerk gave us directions to the bus stop for the trip to the airport. The bus fee was only 3 euros.

There is a McDonalds near the hotel. It's about an 8-minute walk to McDonalds should you have a desire to go there and eat. There isn't much else around the area short of having to take a bus or taxi to get to the city centre.

I recommend this hotel if you have an early flight and want to be near the airport.
