Camelia Hotel - Great location, walking distance from Termini station. There's Conad supermarket nearby which comes in handy. Hotel lobby was not grand but their free internet access more than made up for the lack of a massive reception area. Our room was really spacious for a triple room. The 3rd bed is on a separate area like an annex. Two telly's, 2 wardrobes, a very spacious work desk. There's also sunroof/window being on the top floor. Bathroom was ok. Breakfast was hearty; a few choices of breads, fresh & dried fruits, yoghurt, boiled eggs, etc. But what I loved the most is the staff. They're all lovely and friendly, the guys at the reception are always more than happy to assist us. Shame I forgot the name of that guy who was always on afternoon/evening shift when we stayed there. He was really pleasant and helpful to us. All in all I think this is a very good hotel in Rome and would highly recommend to anyone.

Found our hotel in a nice little quiet area. Quiet being not on a busy street. We stayed in Camelia Hotel in Via Goito (I'll post a review separately). It's exactly in front of a police station. Talk about safe. There's also a supermarket… Bye bye Dubai ~ Hello Europa! |
