Camel Hotel Sharm el-Sheikh Sharm El Sheikh Reviews
Outdated Dive Hotel Jan 23, 2010
Camel Dive Hotel has seen better days - highly recommended in Lonely Planet, it was the most expensive hotel we stayed at in Egypt (more than the Marriott!) and not worth the money. Showers didn't work properly, everything seemed dated, but it was clean (except for the pool) and the staff very friendly and helpful. It's centrally located on Na'ama Bay but the rooms are quiet as they sit on an alley and overlook the pool.
The roof bar is truly incredible and worth a visit no matter where you stay. We loved their long island iced teas and views of the main drag.
The breakfast is fantastic and it's also the only true breakfast to be found in Sharm - unless you consider McDonalds to have a true breakfast. There is also an excellent Indian restaurant on site.
$120 double room incl. breakfast. Diving was $91 for a few hour outing, snorkeling $35 for same - all equipment included.
