Cambridge is located in the Waikato region of New Zealand. It is located about 25 kilometers southeast of Hamilton on NZ 38, along the Waikato River. It's population is about 15,000 persons. Cambridge is full of trees, and it's nickname is the City of Trees. Lush, green rolling hills surround the town. It is a very charming town, well known in New Zealand for arts and crafts, antiques and a growing arts colony.
Cambridge is also known for the fine thoroghbred horses that are raised here. Cambridge hosts harness racing at Cambridge Raceways for those interested in horse races.
