Camberwell Market is arguably better for Australian 'stuff' than Vic Market. At Victoria Market, if you don't want to buy something, you can go away for a few days and think about it. When you come back, it's probably still going to be there because it's a mass produced t-shirt that says 'Australia' on it.
Camberwell Market has stuff that foreigners mightn't necessarily be interested in. It's got a lot of 'Australiana' and English stuff; old Australian books, vintage clothing, vases, swap cards, and generally what you can call 'a lot of crap'. I went there this weekend and bought an old framed print of two Paradise Riflebirds ($5), a set of coasters from England ($5), some shoes ($4), and two bird books; one about Finches and their care, and another about Victorian birds (each $5).
