The Second day we went down to the Carmargue and down to the town of Saintes-Maries-de-le-Mar. A real nice drive, along the way you can see the wild Horses, Bulls, Birds and Flamingos. And Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mar is a real nice Beach town. So nice in fact we went back the next day to go swimming.

The painting of Vincent van Gogh I like most is The Bridge at Langlois. The wooden bridge still exists and nowadays it is known as Pont Van Gogh. So I had to see it. Being situated 1 km south of Arles now was the chance. I even was able to walk over it!

This is the closest thing to COuchSurfing I have done so far. Spring of 2007 a group of us spent a couple of months traveling through Provence, France with Rotary International, we would switch homes every few days and met with all of the Rotary Clubs in Provence. It was well worth it. And FOC!
