 Old Theater renewed into a Movie Theater! Aug 05, 2009
If you like traditional, retro and old-fashioned things, you will love this movie theater as much as I do.
It is located in the 'Plaza del Callao', a really centrical square in the 'Gran Vía' and near the 'Plaza del Sol'. You will distinguish this movie theater from another one because it has huge movie posters. The movie theater only passes two movies at the same time, but they usually are the newest one. Each cinema keeps the appearance of a theater, with 'palcos' (boxes), red seats, the usherettes (1 € is the usual tip) and the stage. But instead a play, you see a movie! The only bad point is that they are always translated into Spanish. By the way, improve your learning! ;)  Part of the Madrid (Spain) travel blog
