A record of my travels...mainly through pics

I won a contest through my work to do some training in Calgary Alberta. Everything was included and we were treated liike rockstars! We took a trip up to Lake Louise and to Banff as well. 4 days as not enough! The weather was absolutely crazy. Those Chinooks would drive me crazy if I lived there. In one afternoon we went from snow to swimming! Pack layers when you leave people!!!

32 states in the US and 8 in Canada. Travelled Canada and the USA from coast to coast within five months. Travelled mostly by train, sometimes by coach. In total 33.000 km (20.000 miles). Started and ended in Toronto. Some other highlights: Montreal, Quebec, New York, Philadelpia, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans, El Paso, LA, San Fran, Yosemite, Death Valley, Vegas, Vancouver, Jasper. Experienced temperatures varying from minus 25 degrees Celsius to +30 degrees Celsius. Only shot 6000 pictures.

The dates are set.... Oct 13-30, 2007. We have decided to be in Paris for Heather's BD. We met a couple of weeks ago and determined what we wanted to see, what towns to visit. Maybe another visit to Monaco is in order or maybe we'll drive into Italy for a day. One thing for sure... if the weather is nice, we are sitting on the beach in Nice!

We enjoyed the Stampede today!  Be careful if you put your kids in charge of the budget!  They can get picky.  They convinced me last night to skip the shuttle and we were kindly refunded our $40.  Early this morning we drove our big rig throughout a major city, down small streets, with construction barriers, and 3km runners.  Fortunately, Calgary was reduced traffic this Sunday morning.  By 7:15 am. we'd paid $20 total for 2 parking spots...

2008 Summer road trip with my parents through western Canada and the US. Over 5000 miles in two weeks.

When I graduated I wanted to see more of Canada so I went Outwest Twice actually. Once right after I graduated in Spring and another time in the fall to go visit my sister and stayed at the Chateau Lake Louise where she was working. I did a lot of day trips hiking. Shared some memories with my family which is important to me and had a wonderful experience. I would definately go back.

After a flight of seven hours, we arrived around 8.00 pm at Calgary, Canada, for a three week roadtrip around the westcoast of Canada. After we picked up our car for the trip, we went to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel it was already dark, so we went to bed early. The trip will begin the next morning.

I went for a conference in Vancouver in summer 2007. So I stayed there for some days and then travelled to Edmonton and Calgary as well.

I went to Prague for WARR and on the way I stopped in Paris and London.

Hi all,Just stopped over for the night with Megan and her sister Kara. Tomorrow I head to Coutts to spend time with the Hutchinsons.YAY!!
