I won a contest through my work to do some training in Calgary Alberta. Everything was included and we were treated liike rockstars! We took a trip up to Lake Louise and to Banff as well. 4 days as not enough! The weather was absolutely crazy. Those Chinooks would drive me crazy if I lived there. In one afternoon we went from snow to swimming! Pack layers when you leave people!!!

I lived in Sudbury for approximately 17yrs and suddenly the family had to 'up-and-move' ... though I remember disliking Sudbury, Ontario and wanting to return to my home in Ottawa, I guess over time I began to become attached to Sudbury and now I look back and want to return ... the same feeling I had back then in Sudbury, Ontario is reappearing again here in Calgary, Alberta ... far from family, but at least I have you; my Travbuddy Family to keep me going!!!!

We enjoy the day exploring downtown Calgary and St Stephens St before our friends fly in later today.

I went to Banff Springs in Alberta in the frigid cold ... boy the water felt so hot but after I quickly got in with the blowing cold -28 degree celcius winds in the Rockies, trust me, this hot spring was perfect ... you have to do it in the winter!!! Banff, Alberta, Canada

I have spent 12 days in Canada, in may 2007.We've started in Vancouver,Victoria,Whistler,Clearwater,Jasper,Lake Louise and finished in Calgary. I love this country and the rocky moutains are so beautiful,so wild. We have seen 2 bears and many other animals (I don't know their name in english :)).
