October and November, along with December and January are definitely the milder temperature months for travelling to Egypt. It never really gets properly cold, although a jumper in the evening is likely to be handy at times. The one thing you have to remember about Cairo itself is that the very heavy smog sometimes traps the heat and makes it seem like it's clinging to you. The same is true for the fact that it is a very dry place with lots of sand and dust.

I agree with other reviews in that women travelling to Egypt should be mindful of not flashing too much flesh. This is especially true if you're blonde and curvy, but also applies to all women. It just ends up making life more difficult so it's best to cover up a little.
