Great cairo Hotel Oct 03, 2009
The hotel is remarkable. The central part was build as a palace in which Empress Eugenia of France could stay when she visited Cairo during the building and dedication of the Suez Canal. The pool area is in a sunken area surrounded by gardens and the hotel itself. There is a diverse variety of restaurants, both inside and out.

Best hotel in Cairo Sep 13, 2009
My husband and I went to Cairo because of business and Marriott was the perfect choice - was located in the embassy neighbourhood. It has everything one can imagine... many restaurants, pools, shopping area, 10 reception desks, taxi-desk, check-in desks and about 10 exits and 10 entrances...with many gardens - is a paradise. The room is large (we stayed in the refurbished part of the hotel) and the bathroom is perfect. We had view to Nile and every morning we were having our breakfast on the balcony...was amazing...and the temperature was great for December:)
