An easy way to make tones of this Sep 20, 2008
By JC (Learned from Brazilians!)
The recipe for 4 persons or 2 really thirsty ones ;) 1 Bottle Vodka (I prefer Absolut, but could use other brands...) 1 Kg of limes 2kg Of Ice 200-300gr of brown sugar Easy way: -Wash all the limes and cut each one in 4 to 8 pieces -Use a clean glass bottom to extract the juice -Add the sugar -Add from 1/2 to 3/4 of the bottle of vodka and lets taste it -Take the bag of Ice and put it inside of more plastic bags (3 or 4 more), throw the ice to the floor many times until it's broken (3 or 4 times should be enough) -Add the ice and mix carefully until the taste it's ok, the more you remove more sweet (because the sugar is on the bottom) -10 or 20 minutes after, add the rest of the Vodka, because more Ice turns into water... For doing Caipirinha change the Vodka for Cachaça(AKA Pinga) Cost: 10+3+2 = 15 Euros Part of the Banyoles 08 travel blog |
