Cahors Vacation Guide
The famous bridge ‘Pont Valentré’ is the symbol of Cahors. Building this bridge took 70 years; a devil’s legend explains why it took so much time.
Cahors is also known for its black wine. Since the Middle Ages, Cahors exported their wine via Bordeaux, at the time there wasn’t any viticulture in the Bordeaux region. The story goes that Bordeaux wine is still inspired by Cahors wine.

Amsterdam, Netherlands -› Cahors, France -› …
after a good night rest i enjoyed beautifull surroundings of Carhors, a little town in midi-pyrenees. Beautifull cathedral, flowers & nature, ruins of forts and... a famous UNESCO protected bridge. And... of course... i drank Cahors wine in Cahors ;-) (that wine is somewhat tannic, but good!)

Lauzerte, France -› Cahors, France -› …
I am living in Lauzerte with my sister. We work for a fitness weight loss bootcamp. Our job is to take people hiking in the area. It is a wonderful job. In fact I have had trouble leaving it. But just some photos and notes about life in Lauzerte.
