Cahir Castle
Cahir Castle Reviews
Jun 22, 2007
Cahir Castle is a bit of a drive from Dublin, but that will give you a chance to enjoy the green countryside. Ireland is green everywhere, and it is simply breathtaking to see! It's right in the town of Cahir and is one of the largest castles in Ireland and it has been used many times over the years to repel invaders. It's also been taken over a few times by the English, so there's a lot of history. I would say it's well worth a visit if you have a car to get around in. It's on the way to Blarney too, so you can hit two castles in one day!
