The Caheroyn House & Farm is a lovely B&B found in Athenry, Co. Galway. It is a completely self-sufficient home on 70 acres of organic farm.
They have a pond for fishing, beautiful property to wander and history galore! With the actual battleground of the battle between Celts and Scotts, the home is not only packed with history, but there appear to be some spirits about the home. The family is very accomodating and have lots of history and information to share...you just have to ask.  Part of the Ireland - 2004 travel blog
