Caffe Poliziano is a large and very attractive cafe with good coffee, great drinks, and delicious pastries. The cafe caters to both tourists and locals (people from Montepulciano are known as "poliziani"). Stop in for a midday espresso or evening cocktails. If you can, try to snag one of the upper-level balcony tables. You will not forget the view of the stunningly serene Tuscan valleys surrounding Montepulciano.
