Good Gelato Jun 15, 2010
We came across Caffe Gelato while attending the ‘Do Division’ Street Fest. The small gelato café offers a wide variety of the Italian ice cream. I sampled the pineapple (not strong enough for me), the chocolate (a rich, intense flavor) and caramel (too sweet), before deciding on the chocolate. Other flavors offered included coconut, tiramisu, pistachio; something like 2 dozen flavors. Caffe Gelato uses really fresh ingredients, even importing chocolates and nuts for their creamy confections. Each batch of gelato is made fresh in-house. Although expensive, $4.50 for the small cup, the gelato is delicious and served with a wafer cookie.

Caffe Gelato is located in a strip of store fronts that are set back off the street. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. We ate outside, which was rather enjoyable.
