Caffe Fiorenza Florence Reviews
Authentic, great range of flavours Oct 13, 2010
Although this place serves sweets and drinks, I stopped by for their fantastic range of ice cream. Despite being in the heart of Florence, the cafe is frequented by the Florentines more than the tourists, so this is a great endorsement in itself.
The quality of the ice cream is stunning - simple, clean but substantial flavours. The temperature is perfect too, served so it's cold but warm enough so you're not eating a block of ice.
My serving was yoghurt and mango, a medium cup costing EUR 3.50. Smaller and larger cups, as well as cones, are available should you wish.
The range of flavours is extensive too, not just the usual suspects. I recommend turning on the charm with your server too, they might just recommend a combination of flavours that is great but something you'd never have thought of.
Probably the best ice cream in Florence, and sensibly priced in comparison to the competition. If you're sightseeing in Florence, you should check this place out.
