Caffe Dion Skopje Reviews
Nice place with a good ambiance in the city centre Aug 18, 2010
Caffe Dion is situated along the river on the flipside of the shopping mall next to the Holiday Inn and close to the old stone bridge built by the Turks back in 15s century.
The place is pretty crowded on a summer evening which probably is like 10 month a year. The outdoor area next to the river is really nice; plenty of lounge chairs and sofas.
The place seems to be a bar preferred by young women of Skopje; at least I was surrounded by them; not that it was bad. I quickly observed that the women here do dress up very female on such a normal Wednesday evening. Most of them are in shorter than knee long dresses and does them good.
The weather was still very hot at 11 pm, at the hotel they told me that it had been 42 degrees Celsius the day before. I was quite pleased with the mid 30s temperature.
The café seem also to be a very popular restaurant but I did not eat there.
