Caffé Espresso Green Bay Reviews
Caffe' Espresso is meant to enjoy with friends. Dec 15, 2008
This restaurant is a time-tested favorite in Green Bay, but I feel it is most loved for the nostalgia and coffee drinks rather than the food.
The owners are very nice and have withstood the last eight (or so) years of increasing competition. Their gyros are good, but everything is served with cheap corn chips (which doesn't seem fitting) but the rest of their food is average at best.
Dark and stale smoke smelling, this place conjures up feelings of a traditional supper club, as smoking is still popular in this restaurant. Some find it really cozy, I just feel it is dark. It is a great place to meet out for a beer, though, the location of it and the selection of drinks is terrific.
With such a diverse menu I have found that most of the food is average, especially depending on the time of day. During the evening past peak dinner rush, I have repeatedly had non-good Mexican food here.
Though I don't go here for any food other than gyros anymore, I do come here to meet with friends and enjoy the company over coffee or cocktails.
